Scratches, cracks and inclusions
Thorough inspection of glass using targeted lighting and magnifiers. Our customers value our expertise because it is almost impossible to find glass that is completely free of defects. It is therefore essential to distinguish between acceptable defects (OK) and those that need to be sorted out (NOK).
Primer rework
Renewal of the primer on front, rear and triangular windows, i.e. all fixed windows, to ensure optimum adhesion to the corresponding 2K material on the body. Reworking the primer is often necessary due to logistical delays.
Sensors and plugs
Check for correct functionality and positioning.
Weatherstripping
Check and reapply weatherstripping.
Heating and aerial cables
Check for correct positioning and quality/rework solder joints.
Camera mounting plates
Check mounting plates for tightness/cleanliness and rework.
Removal of other defects
Identification and removal of other potential defects to ensure proper operation of the windows.

Mistakes can happen anywhere. If the ppm rate is too high, it is necessary that every single windshield undergoes an additional strict inspection by experts before it is passed on to production.
