As an innovative and forward-looking quality service provider, it is very important to us to support and accompany our customers in the best possible way in the many challenges of electric mobility. We have therefore prepared our team accordingly: on the one hand in the qualification of our technical staff, on the other hand in the orientation of our service portfolio.

Since the end of 2018, we have already been implementing projects on HV systems and HV vehicles for various customers at various locations. Our focus is on action/retrofit as well as flashing of control units and infotainment systems.

Hazard Factors of E-Vehicles

Under normal conditions the high voltage components built into vehicles are not an electrical hazard. However, hazard factors are naturally present in electric and hybrid vehicles and this must be taken into account, especially when working on the vehicles. Personal protective equipment and its correct use, appropriate tools and also intensive further training of our team are therefore a matter of course for us.

Conditions for Occupational Safety

These are set out in DGUV 209-093, which will replace the previously valid DGUV 200-005 from mid-2021. It regulates the qualification of employees for work on high-voltage systems. While levels HV 1-3 (with the additional part of training according to chapter IV or V) were previously classified, the new standard clearly differentiates between the application areas of development/production (0E to 3E) and series vehicles (0S to 3S).

Qualification of EuroQ Professionals for E-Mobility

Although dealing with electricity is not a new topic for automotive mechatronics technicians, for automotive mechanics and automotive electricians, all EuroQ professionals who work on high voltage vehicles or even on the high voltage systems themselves are regularly briefed and are provided with intensive further training.

Depending on the order, the customer requirements to us vary. In order to be able to offer you our complete range of services also for E- and hybrid vehicles, all EuroQ specialists are trained in the levels 1-3.

Our team already covers the whole range from simple work to work on live high voltage automotive systems. In the last few months we have carried out e- and hybrid projects with the most diverse requirements at several locations simultaneously.
