Car Mechanics / Rework Technicians (ASE certified or higher) for rework at our customer site Mercedes in Alabama

Responsibilities:
- Review and perform work according to factory standards on brand new vehicles
- Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
- Diagnose, maintain, and perform vehicle automotive repairs including steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning
- Electric vehicle know how is a huge plus
- Document all operations according to factory standards
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Inspect and test new vehicles – recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made
- Maintain and keep track of company assets
Qualifications:
- A very strong focus on quality of work
- Must be a team player
- All applicants must be able to pass drug screening
- Should have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
- ASE or higher qualification OEM master technician
- Automotive diagnostic skills
- Electrical repair skills
- Computer based diagnostic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Valid driver license and clean driving record
- ASE Certification (required)
- Experience: Automotive diagnostics: 3 years (Required)
Additional information:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Salary: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
- Language: English (required), German would be a plus
