Quality Assurance Cologne: EuroQ Branch in Cologne-Ossendorf
EuroQ Cologne is located in the Ossendorf commercial district, two kilometers from the Cologne North interchange with direct access to the A1 and A57 highways. The branch facility provides capacity for ongoing product filters, containment actions, and component inspections. EuroQ handles transfers to client plants with its own vehicles.
Branch Manager Manuel Kuper and his team have inspected and reworked more than 6 Million components. Clients come from the automotive industry, logistics, and a range of other sectors.
Operational Quality Support in Cologne, including other industries
Component inspection, sorting, incoming and outgoing goods checks, repacking, relabeling, and other services from our portfolio are not automotive-exclusive. The inspection methodology does not change fundamentally when components are manufactured for other industries. EuroQ works with clients where quality, delivery reliability, and fast response times matter, regardless of sector.
We inspect components in accordance with VDA standards and OEM specifications, are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, and adapt our standards to other industries where required.
Quality Control in Cologne
EuroQ Cologne inspects, sorts, and reworks components, at its own facility or directly at the customer’s site. Short distances to surrounding plants and logistics centers enable fast Response times.
Where needed, we set up a product filter: incoming and outgoing inspections, and rework where applicable, run before goods are forwarded to the plant. Within the product filter, we also handle additional logistics services such as relabeling and repacking. All inspection results are recorded digitally via the EuroQ App and are available as reports and Pareto analyses in real time.

Short-Notice Containment Actions in Cologne
When a quality issue in the supply chain escalates, every hour counts. EuroQ takes on short-notice containment actions: quarantine stock processing, 100% inspection, and sorting of suspect parts directly at the customer’s site or on external premises.
- Supplier has reported a quality issue — goods must be quarantined and inspected immediately
- Claim from OEM or Tier-1 — tracing and sorting of current stock
- Line stoppage threat — inspection must run parallel to ongoing production
- Product filter as a temporary measure until a permanent corrective action is in place
Electric Mobility, Battery Expertise, and High Voltage in Cologne
Two significant electric vehicle production facilities are located in the Cologne/Duesseldorf region. The Ford Cologne Electric Vehicle Center in Cologne-Niehl produces the Ford Explorer and Ford Capri. In Duesseldorf, the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz van plant manufactures the Sprinter and eSprinter.
EuroQ brings hands-on expertise to this environment: inspections and rework on high-voltage components and cars (HV 1 to HV 3), repacking and quality control of battery cells and battery modules, as well as software updates on control units. HV 3 specialists can work under live voltage when required.

Ramp-Up Support in Cologne
The ramp-up of a new vehicle model is the most critical phase in the supply chain. Quality issues that go undetected at this stage carry forward into series production and generate correction Costs that are a multiple of what early intervention would have cost. We are on-site during this phase: at the plant, at the supplier, or on external premises.
Our team handles component inspections and sorting in parallel with ongoing ramp-up production, reworks parts that fall short of specifications directly on-site, and sets up product filters for critical components. All inspection results are recorded digitally via the EuroQ App and are available in real time.
- Component inspections and sorting in parallel with production
- Rework of parts that do not fully meet specifications
- Product filters for critical parts and assemblies
- Support with initial sample inspections and release processes
- Supplier representation on-site at the plant
- Documentation and reporting for OEM escalations

- Quality-driven rework on demand, e.g. component replacement
- Rework during ramp-up or in series production
- Conversion of production vehicles
